Get Involved
We’re always interested in new members, professional contacts and resources, or people simply interested in entrepreneurship and innovation in the social sector.
Become a Bridge Member
Bridge members receive our weekly newsletter, the Bridge Bulletin, containing news, events, and professional opportunities at NYU and in the New York City region that are related to social innovation. (Click here to see the latest issue of the Bridge Bulletin). Members participate in workshops, attend Bridge parties, meetings and events, represent Wagner to the larger social innovation community, and meet other professionals with similar interests in Bridge’s network. Membership is free and lasts a lifetime. Members also have the opportunity to join and participate in one of Bridge’s Committees, through which Bridge fosters professional development opportunities in a variety of sectors.

Join a Committee
The best way to get involved with Bridge is to join one of our committees. You can see how things work, meet new people, and get some experience before hosting your own event. To find out more, go to our Join a Committee page.
Host an event
Any Bridge Member can host a Bridge Event at any time! All the information on how to do so is included in our all-encompassing Bridge Event Planning Guide and our easy-to use Bridge Event Planning Form. Simply download both these documents, and follow the instructions on the guide to complete the form. Just make sure the event relates directly to our chosen areas of practice:
- Corporate Social Responsibility/Sustainable Business Practices
- Nonprofit/Sustainability Consulting
- Microfinance/Microlending/Financial Access
- Social Entrepreneurship/Social Enterprise
- Social Venture Capital/Socially Responsible Investing (SRI)/Impact Investing
- Social Sector Entrepreneurship (in nonprofits and government)
